Meet the Makers: Valley Brewing
Every town has a first. Drumheller's first pint was poured here.
Valley Brewing opened its doors on August 2, 2019, as Drumheller's first and only microbrewery. You will find it downtown, tucked under the water tower with a patio that looks out on the park.
Fourteen taps rotate through seasonal brews and all-time favourites, from the award-winning Namesake Hazy IPA to lighter, easy-drinking lagers. The water is re-mineralized before it ever meets the grain, a small detail that says a lot about how this place works.
There is no kitchen here. That is on purpose.
Instead, menus from nearby restaurants sit on the bar, and you are welcome to carry a meal in from a few doors down. Kids are welcome too, as long as a grown-up comes along. It is less a bar than a living room for the valley, built to tell the stories of Drumheller's past one glass at a time.
